Magical Tour of China Student Book

Magical Tour of China series is for the intermediate young adult learner with SAT2 level proficiency. The goal is for them to continue building an enduring understanding of the language and culture as well as to achieve AP level proficiency. This curriculum integrates culture as a cornerstone for meaningful communication and follows three families who visit Beijing for the first time to experience Chinese language and culture. In addition to each lesson story, students can further develop their communication skills and build cultural awareness through mastery of literary and historical comparisons in the forms of poems, Chinese classics excerpts, road signs, newspapers, and radio clippings.
